As part of our Social Strategy, we’re developing a series of supporting plans that outline how we’ll tailor support to meet the diverse challenges and desires of the Maitland community.

The Community Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Plan will set out Maitland’s approach to building a safer, more connected and resilient community. This four-year plan will guide how Council will assist our community to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergency events and natural disasters, focusing on collaboration with key agencies, education and local action.

Our survey has now closed. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Your feedback will be reviewed and used to inform the development of the plan.
