The Road Safety Plan 2026–2030 outlines the actions Council will take over the next four years to improve road safety across our city. This includes maintaining and improving roads, supporting road safety education, working with government agencies and focusing on the safety of all road users, particularly children, older people, cyclists and pedestrians.
The draft plan is available below.
We are seeking feedback to ensure the plan reflects the needs and priorities of our community as we work towards reducing serious injuries and fatalities on our roads.
The draft plan will be on public exhibition between 22 June and 20 July 2026.
