Maitland City Council is developing an Active Transport Plan to guide how we'll deliver a safer, more connected active transport network with improved access to local hotspots and key facilities.

Help shape the future of Maitland's active transport network by telling us how you travel around Maitland and what new or upgraded paths, cycleways and infrastructure could support your journey.

Share your insights on ways we can encourage more walking and cycling for daily travel and recreation, how we can improve safety and accessibility on our paths and cycleways, and where there may be missing links.

Aimed at creating a long-term, sustainable transport and movement network, the plan will look at ways to make walking and cycling more efficient and convenient which will contribute to a cleaner environment, boost the local economy and support more active and healthy lifestyles.
